From modern townhouses to listed cottages
Windows can influence the whole look of your home – as well as keeping you warm and safe.
From modern townhouses to listed cottages, we’re experienced in designing and making bespoke windows for all kinds of properties and in a wide range of sizes.
Choosing your timber-framed windows
Our expert joiners can help with:
- sash windows (with weights and cords)
- casement windows
- traditional cottage-style windows
- bay windows
- windows for new builds.
Every aspect of the windows is precision engineered and customised to your needs.
Sustainable and thermally efficient
Typically, wooden-framed windows can last for 50-80 years – making them a better long-term investment than uPVC. Wood is also a more sustainable and versatile choice than many other materials.
Our windows are manufactured from hardwoods such as oak, sapele and Accoya® – a durable, low-maintenance timber. The windows are fitted with toughened safety glass, with single-glazed, double-glazed, slim light and self-cleaning options. Draught strips are also added as standard to keep the windows sealed to the frames.
Fixtures and fittings
Choose from a large selection of window furniture. Locking mechanisms can be tailored to the style of windows, including:
- high-security, multi-point locks and concealed hinges (modern windows)
- locking fitch fasteners and removable security locks (for casement windows)
- traditional hook and mortice fasteners (cottage windows).
Finishing
Your windows can be oiled or painted in a vast range of colours.
Windows for listed buildings
Tucker Joinery specialises in windows for period properties and listed buildings. We work closely with local planning officers to ensure that all work preserves the historic character of these unique properties and meets listed building regulations.
Our skilled joiners can produce exact like-for-like replacements down to the smallest detail – as well as adaptations such as draught slips, modern locks and double glazing for security and insulation*.

Design, manufacture and installation
We can manage the whole process from design to installation – ensuring rigorous quality control at every stage. If you prefer, we can supply the windows for installation by your builder or carpenter.
FENSA guarantees
All of our windows are backed by a 10-year FENSA guarantee* and a 50-year guarantee for Accoya® timber. Windows for new builds and barn conversions are also PAS 24 tested to meet national Part Q compliance – a legal requirement for these buildings.
