Our roof lanterns incorporate clever design and exceptional functionality. The timber elements are made from sustainable wood alongside self-cleaning, thermally efficient glass. Ultra-slim aluminium cappings are used in all roof lanterns to maximise the surface area of glass and bring in as much light as possible.
We’ll work closely with you to find the right roof design for your home. Over the years, we’ve made roof lanterns in all shapes and sizes. So, we understand how the timber structure, glass and ventilation all need to work together in harmony to create an attractive, hardwearing and practical lantern.

Each orangery is built with thermally efficient glazing to ensure that your new living space is warm and comfortable all year round.
Listed buildings
We specialise in making roof lanterns and orangeries for period properties and listed buildings – replicating period details and adding features such as concealed air vents.
You’ll need to get listed building approval from your local planning officer for any work of this kind. We can guide you through this process.
Planning requirements
Most roof lanterns and orangeries can be constructed under permitted development regulations – provided certain requirements are met. We can discuss this with you at the design stage.
The finer details

Orangeries and roof lanterns are all painted or oiled on-site. Paints come in an extensive range of colours. We can also pre-finish your item before delivery/ fitting.
FENSA guarantees
All orangeries and roof lanterns have a 10-year FENSA guarantee – with the exception of listed buildings (which have a two-year standard guarantee).
