Bespoke joinery

The joys of having a piece of furniture made, is not only can we make to any shape or size (wonky old houses don’t scare us!) but that you can be such a big part of the design process.

It is such a fun process, not only will you have a piece of furniture that will be made for purpose, you will have something that is total unique to you.

What should I think of when having furniture made……

•          Using things like Instagram to get ideas of styles is always helpful in the initial stages. As you can have any curves, angle, or style.  But do not be afraid to experiment with           different elements and designs.
•          Painted or natural – this is purely down to personal preference. Painted does require a bit more maintenance, as you may need to do some touching up later.
•          Just timber? – you can use different materials together to create something different and unique.
•          Lighting – using lighting under bookshelves or in wardrobes can help to brighten up dark areas. Dimmable lighting can also help to create different moods.
