Everything we make is bespoke and therefore unique. We specifically choose the best materials for your project, whether it is character grade oak for a period property or durable, stable hardwood for painted windows.
We order your wood and when it arrives, the Tucker process can begin.
We machine the raw timber to its precise size and then check check check. We don't like making mistakes and pride ourselves on our precision. Once the machining is finished the magic begins. We employ traditional techniques and ancient skills to transform the wood and expose its beauty. Even the works for the craft are lovely - mortice and tenoning and dovetail joints or wedges. More hand finishing follows whilst Lee checks each piece before it leaves the workshop. It is at this stage that we can spray paint or lacquer your project in-house in our spraying area. We even offer a fitting service to make the entire process seamless for you.
